Hexis
Hexis by Bevel is an open-source, Git-backed control plane that gives companies one managed place where their AI agent skills, tools, and context live - centrally versioned, access-controlled, and usable from any AI agent over Model Context Protocol. Launched #3 on the Product Hunt August 8, 2026 daily leaderboard and open-sourced at github.com/Bevel-Software/Hexis (Apache-2.0), it layers a non-developer-friendly UX on top of Git so non-technical teammates can suggest, submit, and use agent skills without learning a Git workflow, while admins manage which context, tools, and skills each person, team, or agent can access and approve changes through user-friendly pull-request-style reviews. Each team can be its own group with skills that evolve independently, and an agent in multiple groups picks the skill that best fits the task. A public demo at demo.bevel.software lets visitors connect their own agent over MCP, build a sales deck from a skill, and watch a proposed improvement arrive as a change request. Hexis is ideal for organizations storing agent skills in GitHub that are hitting the limits of using a code tool for non-code governance.
