DeerFlow
DeerFlow is an open-source SuperAgent harness that researches, codes, and creates. With the help of sandboxes, memories, tools, skills and subagents, it handles different levels of tasks that could take minutes to hours. Built by ByteDance, it orchestrates sub-agents, memory, and sandboxes to do almost anything — powered by extensible skills. It provides isolated, safe, persistent, mountable filesystem, long-task running, planning and sub-tasking, context engineering via long/short-term memory, and multi-model support (Doubao, DeepSeek, OpenAI, Gemini, etc.). DeerFlow is now evolving from a Deep Research agent into a full-stack Super Agent. The agent runtime environment runs in a secure Docker-based sandbox that combines Browser, Shell, File, MCP and VSCode Server. Agent Skills are loaded progressively — only what's needed, when it's needed. Users can extend DeerFlow with their own skill files or use the built-in library covering deep research, report generation, slide creation, web pages, image and video generation, frontend design, physics, biology, computer science, and deployment. DeerFlow is ideal for developers and researchers who want an autonomous AI employee runtime for complex, end-to-end workflows requiring planning, tool use, and long-running tasks.
